Polycrystalline diamond compact (PDC) cutter for downhole tools
Tri Wave¡¯s Polycrystalline Diamond Compacts (PDC) cutters, consist of polycrystalline diamond top unit sintered to a Tungsten carbide body through high-pressure and high-temperature process. Such layer consolidation offers a consistently high drilling performances comparing to the traditional Tungsten carbides cutters. Tri Wave¡¯s PDC includes the standard specifications of common sizes as follows, and the customized sizes in which the diameter, the total height and the chamfer details can be manufactured as per customer requirements.

 

Thanks to the innovational design for the interface of the 2mm diamond layer and Tungsten structure, using the high quality diamond powder and the advanced technics of sintering, Tri Wave’s PDC cutters promise high abrasion resistance, high impact resistance and high thermal stability.
Tri Wave’s E Series PDC cutters are designed for soft to medium drilling application and can be applied for various drilling actitivities such as geology exploring, oil & gas drilling etc. The Premium Series are dedicatedly designed for oil & gas drilling application to meet more aggasive formation. For different applications of downhole, these two prototypes offer a various solution and the optimized performances.
